Cientific research conference for Lithuanian gymnasium students

On November 20, 2023, at ISM University of Management and Economics, VŠĮ "Saulės" private gymnasium organized a scientific research conference for Lithuanian gymnasium students. At the event, we listened to more than 30 presentations and two final theses. The speakers were from different cities, and the topics covered a range of subjects, including history, literature, politics, artificial intelligence, and natural sciences.

Rūta Stasiulytė and Anna Bayda, 9th-grade high school students from our school, were invited to the event. They presented their research work titled "Body Movement Pattern Recognition among climbers and non-climbers using an inertial measurement unit (IMU)," which was conducted at Fabrique.lt. This research was conducted under the guidance of Physical Education and Bioengineering (an extracurricular subject) teacher Viney Prakash Dubey and Geography teacher-ekspertė Jurgita Jonaitienė.

Participation in the event provided valuable public speaking experience for our students in front of a wide audience, along with appreciation for their work. Congratulations to Rūta Stasiulytė and Anna Bayda!
